Job summary

Morgan & Morgan in Savannah, GA, seeks an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to join our growing team. You will handle a heavy caseload from intake through trial, joining an established practice group in a leading personal injury firm.

The ideal candidate has a law degree from an accredited school, active GA bar membership, 5+ years in medical malpractice (plaintiff preferred), and excellent writing and client service skills.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active GA State Bar in good standing.
• Minimum 5+ years of medical malpractice experience, preferably Plaintiff.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution, including trial.
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, demands, motions and memoranda.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interact with expert witnesses, including conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits.
• Attend and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, court appearances and trial.

Summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Attorney to join our growing Medical Malpractice department. The Medical Malpractice Attorney will handle and support a heavy and complex case-load of cases from pre-litigation, litigation, trial prep and trial. This is an opportunity to join an established practice group and one of our top producing teams. This position would sit in our Savannah office.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution, including trial
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum
• Guide clients through the case process
