Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to join our Jacksonville, FL office. The attorney will manage a complex caseload from pre-litigation through trial, providing an opportunity to work within an established practice group.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience, ideally in medical negligence, strong writing and advocacy skills, and the ability to manage a high volume of cases while delivering excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
• Active member in good standing with the Florida State Bar.
• 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience, ideally in medical negligence/malpractice.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution, including trial.
• Draft and file litigation documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interact with expert witnesses, including drafting reports and affidavits.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
