Position Summary

ANSER is seeking a Medical Logistics (MEDLOG) Operations and Plans Analyst to serve as the Office of the Force Surgeon (OFS) MEDLOG subject matter expert supporting MARFORPAC deliberate and contingency planning. In this role you will assess Class VIII posture and sustainment, readiness, allied and partner interoperability, and operational logistics in support of the MARFORPAC Campaign Plan/Order and PACOM-aligned efforts.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Identify and assess operational-level MEDLOG requirements, compare current and projected capabilities, and develop recommendations to address gaps, shortfalls, readiness, and sustainment requirements.
  • Translate MEDLOG doctrine, policy, capabilities, and system requirements into actionable inputs and recommendations for deliberate, contingency, exercise, and emergent planning.
  • Provide MEDLOG expertise and inputs for campaign plans, assessments, Annex Q products, OPLANs, CONPLANs, and other operational planning cycles.
  • Develop and manage Health Service Support (HSS) MEDLOG Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) and track execution against established requirements.
  • Participate in working groups, operational planning teams, synchronization meetings, and cross-functional engagements across MARFORPAC, PACOM, and adjacent components.
  • Coordinate MEDLOG planning and sustainment requirements with subordinate, adjacent, allied, and partner organizations to support interoperability and operational readiness.
  • Monitor classified and unclassified communications, doctrinal and policy updates, and emerging requirements to identify issues and recommend necessary adjustments to MEDLOG plans and programs.
  • Develop and quality-assure briefs, assessments, action plans, reports, and other staff products for technical accuracy, completeness, compliance, and alignment with leadership priorities.
  • Prepare and deliver analytically supported briefings, recommendations, and recurring reports, including monthly and quarterly status updates, in accordance with government requirements and timelines.
  • Maintain visibility of operational tasks, requirements, and actions through OFS Microsoft Teams trackers and other task management tools.
  • Elevate emerging MEDLOG issues, capability gaps, and requirements requiring Force Surgeon or OFS leadership attention and support.
  • Incorporate leadership feedback and rapidly revise planning products and recommendations to address identified issues, omissions, and changing operational requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • 6+ years of experience supporting military logistics and sustainment operations.
  • Experience supporting DoD joint-service and international military and civilian logistics networks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight on mission-critical and high-visibility projects.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. Navy MEDLOG systems and reporting, including MAXIMO Logistics Command & Control.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools, including SharePoint, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop clear, accurate, and analytically supported staff products.
  • Completion of relevant military professional education, such as SNCO Academy, Career Level School, Expeditionary Warfare School (EWS), and/or Supply School.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Global Combat Support System–Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) functions.
  • Supply chain or logistics certification, such as ASCM/APICS CSCP or CPIM, ISM CPSM, SOLE CPL, or equivalent.
  • Healthcare or medical logistics credential, such as AHRMM CMRP or an equivalent medical materiel or readiness credential.
  • Relevant military occupational specialty experience, such as USMC MOS 0491, USN LS NEC, Army MOS 68J, or USAF AFSC 4A131.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent professional certification.
  • Additional Professional Military Education (PME) or Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) supporting joint and coalition planning.
  • Applicable Navy AQD(s) or completion of USMC Ground Supply Officer School.
  • Experience briefing and advising senior military leaders, including Flag and General Officers.
  • Experience applying scientific, program analysis, and systems engineering methodologies to complex advanced manufacturing challenges.
  • Experience leading onsite implementation of project plans and managing cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • DAWIA/DAU acquisition certification, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification with demonstrated experience leading process improvement initiatives.

Full-Time Salary Range for this position:

$99,000—$144,000 USD
