Qualifications

• DVM degree and a valid state license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Understanding of hospital financial and operating management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the DVM team with regular performance discussions and development goals.
• Model medical excellence while practicing as an associate veterinarian and achieving production goals.
• Partner with the Practice Manager to develop operating plans and EBITDA goals and ensure compliance.
• Lead monthly doctor meetings, supervise externship and mentorship programs, and champion recruitment.
• Serve as an ambassador for the hospital and Mission Pet Health through community engagement.
