Job summary

Cencora seeks a Director-level Medical Lead to drive strategic consulting engagements for life sciences clients while building NeoOptima's medical affairs capabilities. The role blends clinical expertise with consulting delivery, split between client work and internal business development.

The incumbent will lead advisory engagements, develop medical strategy solutions, and mentor the team to ensure high-quality outcomes for complex projects in pharma/biotech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health economics, pharmacy, biostatistics, epidemiology, public health, or related life sciences field.
• 6+ years in Medical Affairs, health outcomes research, epidemiology, health economics, or scientific consulting.
• Expert knowledge of health outcomes research, epidemiology, and observational study design.
• Strong medical writing and client communication skills with technical insight synthesis ability.
• Project management expertise managing multiple complex assignments independently.
• Experience leading strategic consulting engagements for pharmaceutical or biotech organizations.
• Master's degree preferred; epidemiology or health economics certifications preferred.
