Job summary

MRINetwork is seeking Medical Laboratory Technicians to support veterans' healthcare in Columbia, SC. Responsibilities include performing a broad range of lab tests, maintaining equipment, and delivering accurate results in a team-driven environment.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate's degree in MLS/MT or related field, ASCP/AMT certification, and at least 2 years of clinical lab experience. Shifts include day, evening, and night, with weekends/holidays included.

• ASCP or AMT certification (or equivalent MLT/CLS certification) required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a generalist in a clinical laboratory.
• Ability to perform testing in all major lab areas (chemistry, hematology, microbiology, Blood Bank / Transfusion Services and Urinalysis).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory procedures across hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, and immunohematology.
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure accurate diagnostics and timely patient results.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to support high-quality patient care.

About the Role
Medical Laboratory Technicians will perform a range of routine and specialized laboratory procedures across areas such as hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, and immunohematology. This role is essential in ensuring accurate diagnostics, maintaining lab equipment, and supporting timely, reliable patient results.

Contract Term
Base period + four (4) option years
