Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to support the Dayton VA Medical Center in Dayton, OH. The role covers moderate to high complexity testing with STAT turnaround and strict adherence to CLIA, CAP, Joint Commission, and VA standards.

Candidates must hold a current MLT certification (ASCP, AMT, or AAB) and have a minimum of 24 months of experience. Schedule includes days and evenings; travel or sponsorship not indicated.

Qualifications

• Perform moderate and high complexity laboratory testing.
• Analyze, verify, and accurately report test results.
• Complete STAT testing within 60 minutes of receipt.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
• Follow SOPs, CLIA, CAP, Joint Commission, and VA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high complexity laboratory testing.
• Analyze, verify, and accurately report test results.
• Complete STAT testing within 60 minutes of receipt.
• Communicate critical values to providers and document read-back.
• Perform and document quality control (QC) and proficiency testing.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
• Manage reagents, supplies, and inventory.
• Follow laboratory SOPs, CLIA, CAP, Joint Commission, and VA standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of results, QC, and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and patient safety regulations.
