Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to perform routine laboratory testing under supervision in a fast-paced hospital setting in Palmdale, CA.

Under the direction of the CLS and department leadership, the MLT will adhere to hospital policies, maintain accurate records, and contribute to timely, quality patient care. This opportunity aligns with UHS’s network for growth and development.

Qualifications

• One year experience as an MLT is preferred but not required.
• California State License for Clinical Medical Laboratory Technician (current).
• CPI is required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing following the policies and procedures of the Laboratory Department and the hospital.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in a safe and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with CLS, Department Manager and/or Supervisor to ensure quality results.
