Job summary

Saratoga Medical Center is hiring Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) to support Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms in Twentynine Palms, CA. The position is Monday–Friday, day shift, 40 hours per week, with competitive salary, PTO, paid federal holidays and medical benefits.

Minimum qualifications include completion of an NAACLS/ABHES/AMT-accredited MLT program, ASCP or AMT certification, at least 1 year of experience and BLS prior to start date.

Qualifications

• Education: NAACLS or ABHES accredited MLT program or AMT-equivalent.
• Certification: ASCP or AMT registration/Certification.
• Experience: 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• BLS: Basic Life Support certification required prior to start date.

Saratoga Medical is looking to hire a number of Medical Lab Technicians to work at Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms. Position schedule is Monday through Friday only, day shift schedule, 40 hours a week. This position includes a competitive salary, PTO, paid federal holidays, medical benefits and the opportunity to provide care and services to our military members.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Graduate from a medical laboratory technician training program accredited

by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or educational program acceptable to the American Medical Technologist (AMT).

• Certification: Certification/registration as determined by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) OR
• American Medical Technologist (AMT)
• Experience: One year of experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required prior to start date
