About the role
We are looking for an employee with experience working in a Clinical Laboratory. Knowledge of clinical laboratory processes and procedures required. This candidate will be expected to perform quality control testing, calibrations, and maintenance of laboratory analzyers . This candidate will be responsible for testing patient samples, reporting results and keeping appropriate documentation . This candidate will assist the laboratory manager with administrative, personnel, and technical functions . Candidates with a knowledge of quality assurance measures are preferred . Candidates who possess strong detail oriented and interpersonal and leadership skills will excel in this position.
Supervision Received: Reports to Laboratory Manager
Supervision Exercised: Serves as a main point of contact and team lead for the Arlington Lab.
Typical Physical Demands : Requires full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Frequent walking, sitting, bending, and standing required for extended periods of time. Lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds. Requires visual acuity and normal color perception.
Typical Working Conditions : Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.

Supervision and Support: Participates and assists in supervising and coordinating the daily work in the Laboratory.
