You will perform accurate and timely laboratory testing, review data with supervisors, and ensure proper documentation and QC to meet turnaround targets and regulatory standards. This role supports a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• A 2-Year/Associate Degree in Science is required.
• State of Florida Technician License OR the ability to obtain a license during the interview process.
• ASCP or similar certification is very helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely laboratory testing.
• Seek guidance from supervisors and directors in interpreting data.
• Complete all required records and documentation for patient results.
• Perform procedures within established turnaround times and maintain QC.
• Review logs and coordinate with staff for workload and relief.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements (CAP, etc.).
• Assist supervisor in meeting department regulatory agency requirements.
