Sentara Independence in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician for part-time night shifts (10:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) in the clinical lab. A sign-on bonus of up to $8,000 is available for qualified candidates.

Duties include performing tests, interpreting results, documenting reports, and maintaining equipment. Education requirements include an Associate degree with ASCP or AMT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in medical laboratory technology or equivalent.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.
• Experience as MLS/MLT or lab tech helpful.
