Job summary

HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital in Summerville, SC, seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician for the night shift. You will perform tests and procedures in the clinical lab, ensure accurate results, and participate in quality control and proficiency testing.

Qualified candidates are ASCP-registered MLTs with an associate degree and completion of a NAACLS-approved MLT program. Join a 174-bed facility serving the Dorchester and surrounding communities.

Qualifications

• Must be currently registered as a Medical Laboratory Technician by ASCP.
• Requires Associates degree plus completion of a NAACLS approved MLT program.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests and procedures in one or more areas of the clinical laboratory.
• Be accountable for accurate results, proper use of quality control materials and evaluation of results.
• Recognize the interdependency of tests and conditions that affect test results; participate in continuing education, competency and proficiency testing.

Job Details

We are seeking a full-time night shift MLT to join our team. Hours are 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with rotating weekends.
