We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to serve in a senior or lead-level capacity within our Core Laboratory. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, proven leadership experience, and a deep understanding of laboratory operations. This role plays a critical part in overseeing daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining quality standards, and supporting staff development and training.

Required Certifications & Experience
- Current MLS (ASCP) cm certification (required)
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Core Laboratory operations in a reputable hospital setting
- Prior second‑ or third‑shift supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Previous Lead or Supervisory experience required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of daily Core Laboratory operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
- Supervise and support laboratory personnel, including performance monitoring, and mentorship
- Oversee Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) programs to ensure compliance with CLIA and CAP standards
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with all policies, procedures, and safety regulations

Applicants must meet one of the ASCP eligibility routes through education, training, and experience.
Eligibility Routes
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
- Successful completion of a NAACLS-accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program within the past five (5) years
- NAACLS training remains valid for five years from the date of completion
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast‑paced laboratory environment
- Advanced knowledge of Core Lab instrumentation and workflow optimization
- Experience with regulatory inspections and compliance management
- Moderate to high pace with frequent interaction with laboratory and technical staff
- Exposure to biological specimens and laboratory chemicals in compliance with safety protocols
