Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), St. Joseph's Highland is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technician to perform routine and complex testing in all major clinical laboratory areas.

Under general supervision, this role ensures accurate and valid test results supporting diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include analyzing specimens and preparing detailed reports, contributing to high-quality laboratory services. This full-time position offers day shifts at Highland, IL.

Qualifications

• Associate degree plus NAACLS-accredited MLT program.
• 60 academic credits including 6 hours chemistry and 6 hours biology with additional training.
• 50-week US military medical laboratory training course (or equivalent).
• 3 years full-time lab experience in an accredited lab within last 10 years (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex testing in all major clinical laboratory areas.
• Analyze specimens and prepare detailed reports.
• Contribute to high-quality laboratory services and accuracy of test results.
