Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or an Associate’s degree as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Current national certification (ASCP MLS or AMT MLT)
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment (analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, pipettes)
• Valid Hawaii MLS or MLT license or in process of obtaining it.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex analytical tests on human body fluids and tissues.
• Analyze, review, and report testing results.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement solutions.
• Work in a fast-paced lab with hazards.
• Champion safety, compliance and quality control.
