Job summary

OrthoAlaska is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist for Primary Care Associates Lake Otis. You will perform waived to moderate QC testing, calibrate instruments, and ensure test accuracy while maintaining records. The role supports patient care in a busy clinical setting.

The position offers full-time hours Monday–Friday, cost-effective benefits, and a $500 signing bonus after 90 days of employment. Qualified applicants contribute to quality control and team-based patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or MLS required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical laboratory experience requested.
• Licensure/certification as Medical Technologist/MLS or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived and moderate-complexity patient laboratory testing.
• Calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure instrument accuracy.
• Run quality control and proficiency testing to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Process patient samples and interpret results for providers.
• Maintain proper documentation and equipment maintenance.
