KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a community hospital in North Central Massachusetts.

This third-shift role involves four 10-hour shifts per week, with rotating weekends and holidays as required. The position requires either an Associate degree in science with approved MLT training or a Bachelor's degree with clinical training, plus certification (MLT/MT/MLS).

Qualifications

• Associate degree in science with approved MLT clinical training or equivalent, or Bachelor's degree with clinical training.
• Certification: MLT, MT or MLS ASCPCertification or equivalent.
• Previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Testing across clinical laboratory departments.
• Specimen collection.
• Quality control, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Work closely with the laboratory team to provide accurate, timely results.

Job description

New Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) OR Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) opening at a community hospital in North Central Massachusetts! This hospital is looking to add a full-time laboratory professional to its team on third shift working four 10-hour shifts per week.

This generalist position involves testing across clinical laboratory departments, specimen collection, quality control, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting. Work closely with the laboratory team to provide accurate, timely results that support quality patient care.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Third shift
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Rotating weekends and holiday coverage as required
