Qualifications

• Licensed Clinical Laboratory Generalist per Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners (CLG or CLS).

Responsibilities

• Verify specimens received are acceptable for testing and prepare reagents and controls as needed.
• Label, accession, and distribute specimens while maintaining patient identification and processing integrity.
• Perform gram stains and other preparations; conduct routine serology, antibody detection, and compatibility testing.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, perform quality control, and document results and instrument issues.
