Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician for the Greater Manchester Region in Connecticut. The role involves performing applied techniques in various lab areas to obtain data for diagnosis and treatment, with potential to work across Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, Serology and Microbiology.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate1 Degree in Medical Technology and ASCP MLT or Categorical Certification; an education transcript is required and at least 1 year of

• Associate1 Degree in Medical Technology required.
• ASCP MLT or ASCP Categorical Certification for the employed laboratory section required.
• Education transcript must be provided prior to start of employment.

Responsabilités

• Performs applied techniques for chemical, microscopic, immunologic and/or microbiological tests to obtain data for diagnosis and treatment.
• Works with focus in Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, Serology and/or Microbiology.
• Records laboratory test results and may perform training activities and special projects on request.
