Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist for per-diem evening shifts.

Reporting to the General Laboratory Supervisor, you will perform high-complexity procedures across multiple lab sections, including blood bank/transfusion services, to ensure accurate patient results. A Bachelor’s degree and California CLS license are required; 2 years' experience as Generalist or Microbiologist is preferred.

Medical Laboratory Scientis at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This position is per-diem and will work 8-hour, Evening shifts.

Reporting to the General Laboratory Supervisor, this position is responsible for performing superior customer satisfaction, ensuring the highest quality care and service. Performs a wide range of procedures including procedures of high complexity in at least three laboratory sections where one of the sections is blood bank/transfusion services.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License California upon hire

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 years of experience after Clinical Lab Scientist licensure as a Generalist or Microbiologist

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
