Job summary

Rooks County Health Center in Kansas is seeking a full-time Night Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) to join our dedicated laboratory team. If you are detail-oriented and thrive working independently, we'd love to hear from you.

You will perform waived, moderate, and high-complexity testing, collect specimens (phlebotomy), and operate, maintain, and QC laboratory equipment while reporting accurate results.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.
• MLT or MT/MLS certification (or eligible under applicable CLIA requirements).
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Qualified new graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived, moderate, and high-complexity laboratory testing.

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform quality control on laboratory equipment.
• Accurately analyze and report laboratory results while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

• Prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as assigned.
