Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological science, chemistry, and mathematics.
• Successful completion of NAACLS accredited MLS program or related BS/BA.
• MT/MLS (ASCP) or MT/MLS (AMT) certification required.
• Alternate path: NAACLS program graduates within 6 months considered.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate testing and recognizes abnormal results.
• Reports results timely in writing or electronically.
• Performs routine equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Notifies care providers of critical results.
• Maintains competency and participates in trainings.
