Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a qualified Medical Technologist for a full-time, day shift position. The hospital is a not-for-profit Catholic teaching facility committed to compassionate, person-centered care and community outreach.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in biological, chemical, or physical sciences and at least three years of MT experience. Florida licensure in multiple clinical areas and national certs are preferred.

• Recognizes and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions using results and equipment performance as a guide.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in one of the biologic, chemical or physical sciences.
• Minimum of three years experience as a Medical Technologist.

Licensure

• Must be a licensed Medical Technologist in more than one Clinical area by the state of Florida.
• If working night shift must be licensed in all areas.
• National certification preferred i.e. ASCP, HEW, NCA, ASMT, AAB or equivalent.
