Job summary

Centerpoint Health - Paris is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to support our hospital laboratory operations. This full-time role runs Sunday through Tuesday with every third Saturday, 5:00 pm to 5:30 am, and requires accurate test performance and timely reporting of results.

The ideal candidate holds an associate's degree in laboratory science and may have MLT certification through ASCP or AMT.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have a current associate's in laboratory science.
• License/Certifications: MLT certification through ASCP or AMT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs common testing procedures and reports test results accurately.
• Conducts instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Performs quality control testing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintains supplies and equipment necessary for testing.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
