Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform laboratory procedures independently and to perform testing on patients of all ages with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with proper training and certification, and a Bachelor's in a life sciences field is preferred. Experience may vary by department, with licensure through ASCP/AMT/AAB as required by Georgia regulations.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED plus college/technical training to satisfy testing/certification requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, biomedical science, medical technology or life sciences preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs laboratory procedures and testing for patients of all ages.
