Qualifications

• Certification from MLS/ASCP or AMT within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment; analyze test results and report findings to physicians and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

The Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible forperforming complex laboratory tests on patient specimens to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. This individual must demonstrate precision, analytical thinking, and a strong understandingoflaboratory science and technology. The individual performs diagnostictesting on blood, tissue, and other bodily fluids; operates and maintains laboratory equipment; analyzes test results and report findings to physicians and other healthcare providers; ensures quality control and compliance with safety protocols; maintains accurate patient records and laboratory documentation; collaborates with healthcareprofessionalstointerpret results and support patient care.
