Qualifications

• Licensed Medical Technologist required per Florida licensure rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical, specimen collection/processing, LIS, and clerical functions.
• Maintain performance records as defined in SOPs.
• Supervise MLTs and serve as Charge Technologist when needed.
• Instruct new employees and students.

This is a full-time opportunity.This candidate must hold a valid Medical Technologist - Generalist license in the State of Florida before hire and have at least one year of working experience as a Medical Technologist. This Medical Technologist will be supervised by the Director and Section Supervisors, however, they can perform all responsibilites of this job description without on-site supervision. This candidate will work on a night shift rotating schedule, with a smaller team of two other Medical Technologists.
