Essential Responsibilities:
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a Biological Science required.
Must meet CLIA requirements to perform high complexity testing, college transcripts may be requested.
Preferred Education: None. Required Work Experience: Experience not required but preferred. License/Registration/Certification: Not required but ASCP certified generalist or categorical Technologist or equivalent accreditation preferred within 2 years of hire. Once certified, promoted to MLS II. Other: Experience with computers required, including web based applications and Microsoft applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Successful completion of a clinical laboratory medicine rotation, clinical practicum, or equivalent clinical laboratory experience.

Physical Nature of the Job: Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Some elements of the job are sedentary, but the employee will be required to stand for periods of time or move through out the hospital campus
Pay Range:
$37.00 - $49.80
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geographyof work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
