Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a science-based degree with MLS coursework.
• MLS certification within 12 months eligibility/graduation.
• ASCP/AMT or equivalent certification (MT/CLS) eligibility.
• Certification maintenance program participation if certified after 2004 (ASCP/BOC).
• Effective communication, initiative, teamwork, and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing to assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in screening, diagnosis and treatment.
• Demonstrate behavioral skills that contribute to a productive work environment and provide excellent customer service.
• Accurately perform and evaluate highly complex laboratory testing.
