Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory classrooms and workstations for student exercises according to faculty instructions.
• Set up and distribute laboratory materials, reagents, specimens, and supplies.
• Clean and restore work areas after instructional activities.
• Maintain a safe laboratory environment per policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Support faculty during laboratory sessions by addressing routine equipment needs.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and document equipment logs.
• Monitor inventory and notify leadership for reorder needs.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, labeling, and storing supplies.
• Ensure proper disposal of laboratory waste per safety procedures.
• Provide hands-on support to students to develop core medical laboratory skills.
