Job summary

Baptist Medical Center South is recruiting a Medical Laboratory Assistant II for our outpatient laboratory. This full-time, day shift role (8:45am - 5:15pm) involves specimen processing, phlebotomy, and direct patient interaction in a busy setting.

Responsibilities include clerical/technical duties, data entry, and communicating results to physicians. A High School Diploma is required; an Associate degree is preferred, and phlebotomy experience is necessary.

Qualifications

• Good customer service skills are essential for daily patient interaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform Clerical and technical duties for pre- and post-analytical handling of specimens and results.

• Utilize computer systems to enter and retrieve data.

This is a full-time, day shift opportunity working in the MOB2 Lab from 8:45am - 5:15pm, Monday through Friday.This Medical Lab Assistant II will be working in our Outpatient Laboratory. This candidate will be performing speciment processing and phlebotomy procedures. Phlebotomy experience is required. This candidate must have excellent customer service skills as they will be working face-to-face with patients every day.
