Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking an Inventory Professional to efficiently manage supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels. You will receive, stock, issue, and track inventory daily using the inventory management system to support cost control and patient care.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organization, and proficiency with inventory software. You will work closely with clinical staff and buyers, training new team members and assisting with procedure

Qualifications

• One (1) year supply chain related experience or other relevant experience.
• Lead: One year of work experience as an Inventory Tech (or equivalent).
• Any combination of experience or education that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Uses an automated inventory control and par leveling system for ordering, receiving and stocking/restocking of medical supplies/equipment.
• Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas, monitoring par levels to maintain appropriate stock.
• Identifies opportunities to reduce costs by adjusting par levels, reorder points/min/max, and reducing holding costs.
• Maintains clean, orderly stock locations and labels bins; serves as liaison between clinical staff and supply chain management.
• Assists in recalls, working with buyers and Divisional Inventory Coordinator to pull relevant products.
• Provides on-the-job training, screens workflow, schedules staff, and helps implement new procedures and tools.
