About the Position

Serve as a Medical Instrument Technician (Echocardiograph) with the Department of War at Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg, NC.

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Specialized Experience

One year of specialized experience which includes performing diagnostic echocardiographic examinations; obtaining diagnostic ultrasonic images of the heart and related structures using two-dimensional (2D), M-mode, and Doppler ultrasound techniques; and identifying and documenting abnormal cardiac anatomy or function for physician interpretation. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
