Job summary

Banner University Medical Group Phoenix is seeking a BC/BE Urologist with a special interest in Endourology to join our Department of Urology. You will contribute to academic excellence while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in Phoenix.

You'll participate in the inaugural development of the department, help shape education and research, and contribute to plans for a urology residency program within our leading academic health system.

Qualifications

• BC/BE Urologist with Endourology interest.
• Unrestricted Arizona medical licensure or eligible to receive.
• High-volume stone experience.
• Commitment to academic and clinical excellence.
• Full-time schedule with Monday–Friday + shared call.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, OR cases and shared call coverage.
• Participation in residency program development and education.
• Collaboration with academic colleagues and community partners.

The Department of Urology has active plans to establish a urology residency program. You'll play a pivotal role in training the next generation of urologists while advancing clinical innovation.

State of the Art Technology

6 DaVinci robots (DV5, Xi, SP) and advanced urodynamic equipment

• Collaboration with dedicated colleagues and community partners
• Outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, OR cases, and shared call coverage
• Upper urinary tract pathology (kidneys, ureters)
• Advanced stone disease management
• Ureteroscopy, retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS), percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), and novel BPH treatments

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Urology

• Unrestricted Arizona Medical Licensure (or eligible to receive)
• High-volume stone experience
• Commitment to academic and clinical excellence
• Work Schedule: Full-Time; Monday - Friday + shared call coverage (opportunity for additional paid call)
