Job Description

Involved in the installation, modification, and repair of utility, supply, and disposal systems, fixtures, fittings, and equipment such as sewage, water, gas, and oil lines, compressed air, vacuum, and acid systems, water closets, water heaters, hydrants, valves, and pumps.

Job Requirements

1. Medical Gas License in Texas
2. Assemble, install and repair pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems
3. Have experience in commercial plumbing environment
4. Hold State license (or qualified to sit for the exam in Texas immediately)
5. Enjoys a fast paced environment and is able to meet deadlines
6. Attention to detail and punctual
7. Be able to read blue prints and lay out plumbing systems for underground rough and the top out phase
8. Have an understanding of plumbing codes in different jurisdictions
9. Install DWV (Drain, Waste and Vent systems), domestic water piping (hot & cold systems) and acid waste during new construction or remodels
10. Install natural gas systems, and med gas systems (vacuum, O2, Medical Air, nitrogen) We set plumbing fixtures for commercial buildings and hospitals
11. The ability to Solder & Brazing of copper tubing, thread steel pipe, and use ProPress is recommended
12. Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks (testing procedures)
13. Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, using hand and power tools
14. Install underground storm, sanitary and water piping systems and extend piping to these systems
