Job summary

Airgas is hiring a TGM Service Technician in North Hollywood, CA to support medical gas operations at customer sites, maintain equipment, manage cylinder inventory, and ensure safe delivery and documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma or higher and a valid US driver’s license, with 2+ years in distribution or inventory work. You will join a safety‑driven team and receive comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Welding Technology or Sales preferred.
• Must have a valid US Driver’s License.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in product distribution or inventory management.
• Experience with welding and safety products or related industrial products a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to scheduled rounds to maintain par levels at all locations within the facility.
• Collect and return empty cylinders to storage area(s) to facilitate a smooth return to the production facility.
• Monitor and receive cylinder gas deliveries to support accurate delivery documentation.
• Change out gas/liquid cylinder manifolds at the service sites.
• Follow all applicable facility guidelines and procedures and Airgas standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Complete assigned tasks in alignment with existing procedures.
• Make initial evaluations and seek collaborative assistance when navigating complex challenges.
• Respond to emergency situations to safeguard an uninterrupted supply of product.
• Coordinate cylinder reviews at specified intervals.
• Provide inventory usage reports to the hospital.
• Consult with customers regarding cylinder gas inventory par levels to foster understanding of their needs.
• Adjust inventory levels to accommodate customers’ seasonal demands.
• Place and process orders through the AirGas.com system.
• Document cylinder gas inventory usages using Google forms or Google sheets.
• Rotate all non-specialty gases products, targeting every 30 days.
• Dedicated to the safety of all persons and the general public surrounding facilities.
• Actively participate with the local safety department to support hospital personnel in proper handling and storage of medical gas products.
• Submit any Good Catch incidents to help us improve safety culture.
• To safeguard your well-being, we provide PPE and protective gear.
• Keeping up to date with annual immunizations is essential for client partnerships.
