Dignity Health Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta is seeking a CS Equipment Tech to oversee inspection, cleaning, testing, maintenance and distribution of critical medical equipment. You will ensure devices meet safety and readiness standards for patient care.

In this role you will decontaminate and test equipment daily, manage inventory, coordinate repairs, and work with clinical teams to ensure timely delivery while upholding infection control and safety protocols.

Competenze

• Ability to read and write legibly, and understand written and/or verbal instructions is required, upon hire
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate packaged software programs, upon hire
• Previous experience in hospital Sterile Processing department

• Decontaminate, clean, and test a wide range of medical equipment
• Identify and troubleshoot malfunctions and perform preventive maintenance
• Manage equipment inventory, track usage, and coordinate repairs
• Distribute supplies to units in a timely fashion and ensure proper labeling
• Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and department policies
