Job summary

Agiliti Health, Inc. offers a DOD SkillBridge internship program for transitioning service members to become Medical Equipment Technicians or Biomedical Equipment Technicians.

The 4–6 month program provides hands-on experience, a mentorship, and opportunities across over 90 locations nationwide. Interns participate in CBT, on-the-job training, and classroom learning, with extensive hands-on experience and a competency verification process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must hold a current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interfacing.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to support a 24/7 schedule.
• Willing to travel periodically to support business needs.
• Able to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on a variety of medical devices.
• Complete all paperwork and data entry accurately to ensure documentation for billing and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with clinical staff on equipment features and functionality.
