Agiliti in Hammond, LA is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician I to perform cost-effective inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair on a range of medical devices, including beds, pumps, and monitors. This role supports patient care by keeping equipment in top working order.

You will complete paperwork for billing and regulatory compliance, communicate with clinical staff about features and performance, and travel as needed to customer sites.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to travel as needed.
• The ability to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Provide cost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on a variety of medical devices including medical beds, infusion pumps, patient monitoring equipment, etc.
• Complete all paperwork and computer data entry accurately and promptly to ensure complete documentation for billing and required regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with clinical staff on the topics of equipment features, functionality, etc.
