Job summary

Agiliti is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician I at Norman Regional Health System in Norman, OK to maintain and repair a range of medical devices, ensuring they meet manufacturer specs. You'll perform preventive maintenance, complete documentation for billing and compliance, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure equipment readiness and safety.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and willingness to travel and work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.
• Willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays; 24/7 schedule.
• Willingness to travel periodically.
• Ability to lift and push up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on a variety of medical devices.
• Complete paperwork and computer data entry accurately and promptly to ensure complete documentation for billing and required regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with clinical staff on the topics of equipment features, functionality, etc.
