Job summary

Trimedx is hiring a full-time hospital equipment transporter in Indianapolis. You will sanitize, bag, and prepare equipment for use, and efficiently transport it across IU Health facilities. You’ll monitor inventory and support infection prevention and patient safety while delivering excellent service to hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medical equipment is sanitized, bagged, and ready for use.
• Transport equipment quickly and efficiently throughout the hospital.
• Maintain and verify inventory levels of medical equipment.
• Provide outstanding customer service and build relationships with hospital staff.
• Navigate a dynamic hospital environment as needed.
• Enter occupied patient rooms to complete quantity checks.
• Play an essential role in infection prevention and patient safety.

Pay Rate: $16/hour

What You’ll Do

• Ensure medical equipment is sanitized, bagged, and ready for use
• Quickly and efficiently transport equipment throughout the hospital
• Maintain and verify inventory levels of medical equipment
• Provide outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with hospital staff
• Adapt to a dynamic hospital environment, navigating different areas as needed
• Enter occupied patient rooms to complete medical equipment quantity checks
• Play an essential role in infection prevention and patient safety

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• A passion for healthcare and patient safety
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout your shift
• Strong attention to detail and a team-player attitude
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to pass a background check & drug test
