Job summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Medical Equipment Library Technician to support delivery and collection of equipment, ensure decontamination, and maintain asset records within the Medical Equipment Library. The post holder will work across wards and departments to provide reliable equipment support and contribute to PPМ and asset management processes.

The role is based in the Medical Equipment Library on site at the trust's Winchester site, with responsibilities including

Qualifications

• Delivery of medical equipment to clinical areas and wards
• Decontamination of collected items and keeping them ready for use
• Record-keeping of equipment movements in asset management system
• Implement changes in line with engineering procedures and policies
• Adhere to Health and Safety and COSHH requirements

Responsibilities

• Carry out delivery and collection of medical equipment to clinical areas and wards.
• Ensure collected items are decontaminated and ready for use.
• Maintain a log of equipment going out and coming in in the asset management system.
• Support implementation of engineering procedures and policies.
• Follow Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines in the department.
