Job summary

Corewell Health in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a dedicated courier to deliver medical and nonmedical equipment, furniture and supplies to various locations. You will operate straight trucks and possibly cargo vans, perform routine vehicle inspections, and ensure timely documentation in accordance with regulations.

Responsibilities include safe transport, adherence to DOT standards, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and reporting repairs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• Excellent driving record required.
• Chauffeur License MI and Driver's License MI required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical and nonmedical equipment, furniture and supplies to various locations safely and accurately.
• Abide by all traffic laws and DOT standards and training.
• Represent Corewell Health professionally, upholding our core values.
• Perform limited maintenance and care of department vehicles and equipment.
• Notify supervisor of anticipated repairs and follow incident procedures.
• Follow vehicle manuals and notify leadership for issues.
• Operate Hi-Lo and electric pallet jacks when needed.
• Keep vehicles clean, organized and ready for the next driver.
