Job summary

Inspire Medical Systems is seeking a Medical Education Specialist to plan, execute, optimize, and evaluate healthcare professional education programs that support safe adoption of Inspire therapies. You will independently manage APP education, peer-to-peer education, webinar offerings, and emerging Medical Education strategies.

Responsibilities include coordinating faculty, vendors, and on-site delivery, as well as developing dashboards and metrics to measure program impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in education, healthcare, life sciences, business, communications, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in medical education, healthcare education, event management, training, clinical education or related.
• Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining attention to detail.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Medical Education Specialist plays a key role in the planning, execution, optimization, and evaluation of healthcare professional (HCP) education programs that support the safe and effective adoption of Inspire therapies. This role independently manages multiple educational initiatives, including Advanced Practice Provider (APP) education, peer to peer education, webinar educational offerings, and emerging Medical Education strategies.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Educational Program Management

• Lead the planning and execution of Medical Education programs, including Advanced Practice Provider (APP) education, Peer-to-peer education, Webinar educational offerings, and other provider learning initiatives
• Manage program logistics, faculty coordination, vendor relationships, and on-site delivery to ensure high-quality learner experiences.
• Identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness, scalability, and participant engagement.
• Own the end-to-end management of webinar programs, including planning, platform administration, execution, and post-event evaluation.
• Serve as a subject matter resource for webinar and event technologies, providing guidance to internal stakeholders and faculty.
• Analyze webinar performance and implement improvements to enhance learner engagement and outcomes.
• Develop and maintain program measurement tools, dashboards, and reporting processes to evaluate educational effectiveness.
• Analyze learner feedback, participation trends, and outcomes data to identify opportunities for program optimization.
• Present actionable insights and recommendations to Medical Education leadership and stakeholders.

Educational Content & Learner Experience

• Partner with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Clinical, and faculty experts to develop engaging, clinically relevant educational materials.
• Design learner engagement strategies, assessments, and educational tools that support knowledge retention and behavior change.
• Incorporate feedback and emerging best practices to continuously enhance the learner experience.

Qualifications:

This role may require periodic travel to support national, regional, and field-based education programs, including evening or weekend events as needed.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in education, healthcare, life sciences, business, communications, or a related field required.

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in medical education, healthcare education, event management, training, clinical education or a related field
• Demonstrated experience managing complex programs or projects with multiple stakeholders
• Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience supporting healthcare professional education programs, working with physician faculty or external speakers, managing virtual education platforms, using learning management systems, and developing educational metrics or dashboards
• Experience in regulated healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, sleep medicine, or multidisciplinary clinical education is strongly preferred.

The salary for this position will be offered at a level consistent with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position at the time of posting. The salary range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from the posting based on various factors such as geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.

$85,000 - $110,000 USD
