Job summary

Texas Oncology in Fort Worth is seeking a Medical Dosimetrist to join our radiation oncology team. This full-time position supports the Fort Worth Cancer Center with treatment planning and QA responsibilities. You will generate plans using planning software, delineate anatomy, and communicate with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• CMD credential required; MDCB certification preferred.
• Experience with radiation therapy planning software.

Responsibilities

• Generate radiation therapy treatment plans using computer software and imaging modalities.
• Identify and delineate anatomy on imaging for planning.
• Create compensation filters, shields, and other beam-modifying devices as needed.
• Perform patient-specific quality assurance under medical physicist supervision.
• Complete treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate plan details with physicians and staff and offer alternative solutions.
• Transfer treatment plans and related data to ROIS and verify information post-transfer.
