Job summary

Montefiore Medical Group in the Bronx seeks an Internal Medicine physician for ambulatory care to manage general medical care, emphasize prevention and wellness, and serve as first point of contact for patients.

The role features collaboration with Behavioral Health and leadership to ensure quality outcomes, a flexible 40-hour work week with no inpatient call, and support across multiple sites in the Bronx and Westchester.

Qualifications

• Completion of US accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency.
• New York State medical license.
• Board-eligible or board-certified.
• DEA and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct general physician medical care.
• Emphasize early detection of ailments, prevention, and wellness.
• Serve as the first point of call for all patients.
• Collaborate with Integrated Behavioral Health team for holistic primary care.
