Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required.
• Active licensure in the practicing state without restrictions.
• DEA registration for responsible practice location(s).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian.
• Preferred minimum of 1 year leading a veterinary team.
• Commitment to a minimum of 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Set and uphold medical quality standards for the practice.
• Mentor and manage veterinarians to maintain clinical proficiency.
• Lead regular doctor meetings to align medical standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in medical quality and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with Practice Manager on hospital initiatives and scheduling.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and regulatory compliance.
