Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an accredited institution.
• Current license (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in New York, DEA license (or eligibility).
• Demonstrated small-animal clinical experience; surgical and dental proficiency required.
• Commitment to low-stress handling and high-quality, evidence-based medicine.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership, uphold clinical standards, and champion low-stress patient care.
• Maintain an active clinical caseload in wellness, dentistry, routine surgery, and urgent care.
• Mentor and develop veterinarians, licensed technicians, and support staff; foster a culture of learning and accountability.
• Oversee quality assurance, medical protocols, and case review processes; support a cohesive client experience with empathy.
• Collaborate with practice leadership on scheduling, workflow optimization, and resource planning.
• Ensure appropriate use of on-site diagnostics, pharmacy, and treatment modalities.
