Camillus Health Concern in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced Medical Director to provide clinical leadership, oversee medical operations, and deliver high-quality primary care to underserved populations.

The role includes direct clinical practice, policy development, performance monitoring, and collaboration with leadership to advance mission-driven healthcare delivery. The position emphasizes regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and team mentorship.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in Florida.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or another primary care specialty.
• Current DEA registration.
• Eligible to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
• Experience providing direct patient care and managing clinical operations.
• Knowledge of clinical quality improvement, healthcare regulations, and evidence-based medical practices.
• Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and clinical documentation systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and oversight of medical services, ensuring high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.
• Directly supervise medical providers including physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Develop and implement clinical policies, protocols, and standards of care.
• Oversee clinical operations, resource utilization, and cost-effective delivery of medical services.
• Collaborate with Behavioral Health to support integrated primary care and behavioral health services.
• Provide clinical guidance, mentorship, and professional development for medical staff.
• Serve as Co-Chair of the Quality Improvement Committee and lead improvement initiatives.
• Monitor clinical performance indicators and ensure compliance with regulations and credentialing.
